May 16 Announcements

On Fridays, during April and May, Trinity Baptist Church is hosting our Apopka Police Department training sessions here on our campus.  We don’t want anyone to be alarmed when they see multiple police vehicles on campus, and policemen and women in tactical gear running training drills in the Worship Center.

Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles, are you concerned about our children and their exposure to the digital world?  On Saturday, May 22 there is a FREE seminar “Parenting in the Digital Age”, at the Apopka Community Center (VFW) from 9 am – noon.  For more information and to register: visit ParentingInADigitalAge.com.

We are starting a NEW SINGLES class on May 23 at 9 am in Building A, Room 207. Join us as we study the book of Nehemiah.

Pastor’s Breakfast will be Sunday, May 23rd at 9 am in the gymnasium of the Lovett Christian Life Center. This breakfast is for anyone who desires more information about Trinity, our programs, servant opportunities, and an opportunity to meet our pastoral staff. Please call the church office to let us know you will be attending.

Graduates, we will celebrate you on May 23rd in the Worship Service.  Please see Pastor Mike for more information.

The Video/Sound Team is in need of a few “good men/women” to help with the sound, lighting, and video portions of the worship services.  If you would like to volunteer to assist in this area, please see Pastor Jeremy on Sunday morning, or call him at 407-886-2966.  We look forward to working with you.

Our next Baby Dedication will be during the Worship Service on June 13 If you have a baby/child that you would like to dedicate, please see Mrs. Kate Powers to sign up.

The time for VBS is fast approaching!  Kate Powers, our Children’s Director, is so excited to host VBS this year during the week of July 19 – 23 from 6 pm – 8:30 pm. We would love for you to join us to help in this vital ministry to the children of our community.  There are many positions that are available and need to be filled. Volunteer forms are available at the Welcome Desk. Don’t wait, see Kate today!

We are looking for Host Families for Backyard Kids Club.  This is a condensed version of VBS that can be done in a few hours, several days, or over the weekend.  The content will be customized based on the venue.  All you need is some kids, an open space, and we will do the rest.  Contact Kate Powers to find out more.

The people at Trinity have always been generous by giving their time, talents, and monetary gifts to TBC. We have a Giving Portal through our Trinity Baptist Church website for those who would like to give online and for those who are new to this mode of giving.  Please go to our website: www.tbcapopka.org and click on the Giving Tab.  When you choose the Online Giving link, you will be taken to our Giving Portal.  If you have questions or need help signing up, please call Cammie at 407-886-2966.  If you are unable to attend Sunday services and would like to continue to donate by check, feel free to mail them to the Church Office. Thanks so much for your continued generosity!

Celebrate Recovery happens each Sunday evening at 6:15 pm in the Chapel. Celebrate Recovery is a program of healing for those who suffer with addictions.  Join others for a time of sharing, healing, and inspiration each week.
